The clients’ brief was to create a more connected open living space from the existing separate kitchen and dining rooms. The newly L-shaped design provides a bigger, brighter communal room with an improved connection to the garden to suit modern day family life.

The new space is filled with light from both the large skylight positioned over the kitchen area, as well as the expansive modern glass doors and windows that allow this family to bring the outside in and maximise the home’s connection to the garden.
