The clients’ brief was to create a more connected open living space from the existing separate kitchen and dining rooms. The new L-shaped design suits modern day family life with a bigger, brighter communal room impacted by light from both the new kitchen skylight and expansive modern glass doors and windows. The design improves the home’s connection to the garden and brings the outside in.
